Mr. LaBorde has served as a leader for Texas municipalities for 20 years. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University. He is a graduate of Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs Public Executive Institute and is currently completing his certification from the Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute. Prior to serving as the City Manager for the City of Keene, Mr. LaBorde served as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Buda and directed the Public Works and Community Development activities for the City of Shenandoah. He also held multiple leadership roles in the City of Dayton. He is a past President of the Texas City Manager Association (TCMA) Region 7 and has served on the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) Technical Advisory Committee.
