    Thank you for signing up for our adult fitness class free trial period. We’ve had a great turnout, and it’s been inspiring to see so many folks get involved and put in the extra effort to get fit. We’re proud of you!

     

    SURVEY

    We welcome your feedback on our initial trial period over the last 2 weeks. Please take this survey, and we hope to improve and expand our offerings going forward.

     

    PAYMENT PROCESS

    Starting July 31st, the classes will be $5 each. You can pay by cash or check at the beginning of any class, or you can pre-pay at the Parks & Recreation Office (1412 Davis St). Our office hours are 8:30 – 11:30 AM and 1:30 – 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday. Soon we’ll also have an on-line credit card payments option.

     

    BULK DISCOUNT

    We’re offering a 20% bulk discount. You can purchase a 10-class punch card for $40.

     

    FREE TAI CHI

    Our new free class is available every week through a grant from the Texas A&M School of Nursing. Tai Chi is a low intensity class that exercises both mind and body. The class starts August 24th, and it’ll be every Thursdays at 2:30 PM. This is a great opportunity for our senior citizens.

     

    WATER AEROBICS

    With school starting soon, the pool will be closed during the week starting August 7th. Thus, Tuesday, 8/1 and Thursday, 8/3 will be the last weekday water aerobics classes this summer.

     

    MOVIE IN THE PARK

    The next big Parks & Recreation event will be the Movie in the Park on Friday, August 11th. Food will be available for sale at 6:30 PM, and the movie will start at 8:45 PM. The event will take place at the Memorial Field next to the Parks & Recreation office. Please RSVP on Facebook and share the event with your friends.
