Council of the City of Taylor met on September 20, 2005, at City Hall, 400
Porter St., Taylor, Texas. Mayor Don
Hill declared a quorum and called the special meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.
with the following present:
Council Member Bernabe Gonzales City Clerk, Susan Brock
Council Member Ella Jez
REGULAR AGENDA –
REVIEW/DISCUSS & CONSIDER/ACTION:
ORDINANCE 2005-19 FINAL BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005.
Ms. Jon-Etta Ross, Director of Finance, presented background
information regarding the introduction of Ordinance 2005-19. This final budget amendment is necessary to
close out the 2004-2005 fiscal year with a balanced budget. In summary,
the General Fund shows a balanced budget with a 1.57% decrease in revenue from
Budget Amendment 2 and a decrease of 1.82% in expenditures. Council had several questions pertaining to
the total budget balance and revenue increases. Mr. Ted Hejl, City Attorney, read the caption to Ordinance
2005-19. With no further discussion,
Mayor Hill declared the ordinance officially introduced.
With no further business, the council meeting was adjourned at 8:05 a.m.
