The City Council of the City of
Taylor met on March 17, 2005, at City Hall, 400 Porter St., Taylor, Texas. Council member Mikeska was absent and Mayor
Hill declared a quorum and opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. with the following

REGULAR AGENDA – REVIEW/DISCUSS &
Consider STRATEGIC PLAN AND ACTION PLAN
Frank Salvato, City Manager,
presented an overview of the Strategic Plan after staff had developed
strategies and action steps to carry out the goals set by City Council earlier
this year. Some minor changes were made
and will be included in the final version.
Council prioritized the original ten goals as follows:
Improve City Infrastructure
Alternative Funding Sources
Implement Existing Plans
Goal Setting Conferences
10. Annual Review of
DISCUSS LEGISLATIVE AGENDA
Council received a binder
containing legislation introduced at this year’s Legislative Session. This information is for review and no action
was taken on this item.
Review Emergency management plan
received updated copies of the Emergency Management Plan to review in
advance. Chief Haywood Stanford noted
that the only major changes were in the Annex Sections with updated names and
locations for selected items.

Council received copies of the High Pressure Plane and was encouraged
to study the project on their own and bring back comments at the next meeting.
With no further business, the council meeting was adjourned at 9:25
