City Elections
The City of Taylor is a "Council / City Manager" form of government. Council members are elected by the citizens and registered voters of Taylor. The City is divided into four Districts or Precincts and has one Council representative from each, as well as council member elected at large. Council terms are three years and staggered with elections held in May.
May 11, 2013 Official Election Results
The City of Taylor held an election on May 11, 2013 to elect one City Council member from District 1 and one from District 4. Official results are as follows:
District 1:
Don Hill, (incumbent) 82

District 4:
Chris Osborn (incumbent) 131

A runoff election for District 1 candidates Don Hill and Thomas Mowdy has been set for Saturday, June 8.
Early voting will be conducted from May 28-June 1, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday, June 3-Tuesday, June 4 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Polling places on Election Day Saturday, June 8 are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Registered voters in District 1 may vote at the polling place below during both Early Voting and on Election Day.
