The police department consists of 27 sworn members (averaging 15.86 years of law enforcement experience as of 04-2010) and 12 non-sworn personnel serving a vibrant and growing community esitimated by the Capitol Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) at 18,509.

We are a values based organization that seeks to serve all persons who reside in or visit Taylor to the best of our abilities and provide all with the highest possible quality of life.
