City Elections
The City of Taylor is a "Council/City Manager" form of government.  Council members are elected by the citizens and registered voters of Taylor.  The City is divided into four Districts or Precincts and has one Council representative from each as well as One At Large representative elected from the entire City.  Council terms are three years and staggered with elections held in May. 
 
May 8, 2010 Election

The election results for the May 8, 2010 are as follows: 

District 4:  Arthur Moreno    139 votes
                Chris Osborn      182 votes (elected)

District 1 incumbent Don Hill drew no opponents and will continue to serve in this seat for another three year term.

Bond Proposal: $3 million for indoor recreation center:
    For        397    
    Against  645 (Proposition failed)
