1. How do I volunteer to be on a City Board?

The City Council appoints members to all City Boards and Commissions as members terms expire. Each committee has a number of appointments. For more information on current vacancies, contact the City Clerk.

2. How do I get a copy of an ordinance or any other city document?

The City Clerk is responsible for providing access to city documents through the Open Records Act. Many of the Ordinances are available on this website. Contact Susan Brock, City Clerk, at 352-3676 or susan.brock@taylortx.gov for more information.

3. How often does the City have an election?

The City follows the General Election calendar and rules for the State and County. Council member's serve three year terms that are staggered with most Municipal General Elections held in May. More...
