The Engineering Dept. strives to provide excellence in the guidance and direction of all planning, design, and construction of capital and development projects in the City of Taylor, while maintaining a commitment to professionalism and cost effective customer service.

Public Works Administration provides direction and guidance to the Street, Parks, and Utility Divisions.     

The role of the Streets Maintenance Division is to insure the maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, drainage ways, alleys, street signs and pavement markings within the right-of-way of the city limits of Taylor. The division also supports the annual spring cleanup program.

Provides financial operations and personnel services for our utility divisions. Provide administrative support, including customer relations, reception, record keeping, and secretarial services to all departments within our division.

Protect the public health of the citizens of Taylor with safe drinking water and disposal of sewage and address and correct problems that may arise in a safe and timely manner.

Ensures that State and Federal guidelines for the Wastewater Treatment Facility, Cross-connection Control Program, and the City's Purchase Water Permit are met.
