The Taylor Streets Project uses funds from the 2019 Infrastructure Bond to improve roads, address drainage issues, replace water and wastewater lines, and repave driveways within the City’s right-of-way. Five streets will be reconstructed as part of the project. The project will improve mobility and safety along the following streets:

Construction is beginning mid July on W. Lake Drive and on 3rd Street. Construction dates for Lynn, Robinson and Edmond Streets are being scheduled.
Construction is anticipated to be complete by Summer 2021.
Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work may occur occasionally Saturday.
During construction, streets that are part of the Taylor Streets Project will remain open to local traffic. The street will be closed to through traffic, however the contractor will provide access for trash pick up, mail deliveries and special deliveries.
Items located within right-of-way may need to be removed and relocated. . Existing conditions of driveways included in the project limits will be documented prior to repaving. Residents whose properties may be affected by construction will receive a notification no less than 48 hours before work begins.
If it is necessary to turn off your water service for any length of time, the Contractor will notify you 72 hours in advance with a date and time frame.
Please avoid parking on the street during construction hours.
