1. Can I have a garage sale in my yard?

City Ordinance allows each residence to have one garage sale per quarter (no more than four times a year). Signs are only allowed on property where the sale is being held. No permit is required.

Tom Waggoner is the City Animal Control Officer and can be reached through the Non-Emergency Police Dispatch office at 352-5551.

3. Where do I pay my property taxes?

The City of Taylor and the Taylor Independent School District contract with the Williamson County Tax Assessor to collect taxes at the local tax service center located at 412 Vance Street. They can be reached by phone at 352-4140 or on their website: http://www.wilco.org/tax_assessor
