Williamson County and the City of Taylor are partnering to reconstruct and widen CR 366 from two lanes to three lanes with a continuous center turn lane and shoulders from Carlos G. Parker Boulevard to Chandler Road. Construction began in November 2022. The City of Taylor maintains CR 366, while Williamson County is managing the reconstruction project. Increased truck traffic has caused significant damage to the existing pavement. Due to this road damage, Williamson County and the City of Taylor agree it is in the best interest of the traveling public to close the road to through traffic until the construction project is completed. We will provide access to local traffic on CR 366 and CR 369 through the construction zone. CR 367 residents will access via Carlos G Parker Blvd. The closure will begin on Monday, July 24, and remain in place until the project is completed in summer 2024.
