[ARCHIVED] BOIL WATER NOTICE RESCINDED FOR UPPER-PRESSURE PLANE

Boil Water RESCINDED graphic

On Saturday, May 20, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Taylor to issue a Boil Water Notice for the upper-pressure plane to inform customers that due to conditions that occurred recently in the upper-pressure pane in the City, the water from the City’s water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

The City has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by the City used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water in the upper-pressure plane no longer requires boiling prior to use as of Sunday, May 21.

If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Water Superintendent Sam Thomas at 512-352-3251.
