The first phase of the Headstone Leveling Project is set to begin this Saturday, July 30, 2022, and is expected to be completed by August 13, 2022.
The headstones that repair work will be performed on are located in Blocks 9 and 8 in the First Addition.
The goal is to use designated funds every year to repair and level headstones in the Taylor City Cemetery beginning in the older sections of the cemetery where the repair work is heavily needed.
