TAYLOR, Texas –The Taylor Police Department and 4th Street Grind have joined forces to hold an informal time for residents to meet and talk with officers over a cup of coffee. The latest edition of “Coffee with a Cop” is set for Wednesday, January 22, 2020, from 8:30 AM to 10 AM at 4th Street Grind, 203 W. 4th Street.
The Taylor Police Department holds these informal gatherings each quarter at different locations throughout Taylor.
The public can come by and get a free cup of coffee during the event.
“We are appreciative of 4th Street Grind’s supportive efforts to host ‘Coffee with a Cop’ said TPD Chief Henry Fluck. “The Taylor Police Department looks forward to visiting with residents in an informal setting to discuss crime or safety issues. We are encouraging residents to meet with us and enjoy a free cup of coffee compliments of our host, 4th Street Grind".
Taylor Police Officers will come and go throughout the 90-minute period, according to Chief Fluck. Opportunities for the public to take photos with officers will be available.
