Streets surrounding Heritage Square Park and Taylor City Hall will be closed to traffic starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, to accommodate the first Stomp ’N Holler BBQ & Music Festival. Fencing was put in place by event crews on Friday in areas of the street closures as setup was underway.
Streets that will be closed to traffic are:
- Porter Street, from 3rd Street north to 6th Street
- Main Street, from 3rd Street north to 5th Street
- 4th Street, from Talbot Street east to Washburn Street
- 5th Street, from Main Street east to Washburn Street
City crews will reopen the streets late Saturday night after the festival, and all roads except Porter Street clear by approximately midnight. Porter will remain closed through Sunday.
Foot traffic is welcome, as many downtown merchants outside the fenced area will have sidewalk sales during festival hours.
