September is Preparedness Month In Williamson County
The Williamson County Office of Emergency Management
encourages residents to get an emergency kit, make a plan,
be informed and get involved in emergency preparedness. Information on building an emergency kit and creating an emergency plan for your family will be available throughout the month on the Williamson County website.

Is Your Emergency Notification Contact Information Correct?
The City is now using Blackboard Connect as its emergency notification provider. It has a new feature that sends automated weather alerts to residents and businesses. It also will be used to send public messages. Now is the time to make sure your contact information is current. Submit changes and
information online or call Jean Johnson at 352-5448.

Utility Billing Department Moves to City Hall
The Utility Billing Department is planning its move from the City Annex building to City Hall by September 24. A drive-up window is located on the north side of the building for your convenience and a drop box is located at the north doors of the City Hall entrance. For more information, contact Utility Billing at 352-2066.

Film Friendly City
The Texas Film Commission has recognized the City of Taylor as a Certified Film Friendly Texas Community. Film production activities make a positive economic impact in our community as supplies, fuel and food are purchased locally. More than 20 feature films have been made in Taylor.
