The Taylor Fire Dept. will once again be hosting the annual Citizens Fire Academy starting March 6, 2017. The course will be 12 weeks in length and will meet on Mondays and 2 Saturdays. CFA participants attend a rigorous three month course designed to teach them the tools and necessary skills that will enable them to fill their critical role in helping the TFD.
Upon graduation of The Citizens Fire Academy, you will be eligible to join the Response Support Team who help to meet the needs of the Taylor Fire Department during responses to emergencies, day or night.
Currently, the TFD Response Support Team consists of 8 Taylor citizens who have graduated from CFA.
