Age 65 and Older Exemption
Residents of the City of Taylor who are 65 years of age or older may qualify for a property tax exemption. City Ordinance change to 2021-18 specifies that $30,000 of the appraised value of the residence homestead of a person sixty-five (65) years of age or older shall be exempt from ad valorem taxation beginning with tax year 2003 and continuing thereafter provided they qualify for and submit an application for such exemption to the Williamson Central Appraisal District.
