Texas Parks and Wildlife Hike and Bike Trail
The TPWD is a shared use 10’ wide concrete recreational trail generally located between E. 5th Street and Robinson Park along Bull Branch Creek. The project will be partial renovation, partial new construction and will allow connection to the City’s existing pedestrian transportation system.
The Fair Streets project was an overlay project of City streets rated in “fair” condition. The overlay project provided a means to prevent streets rated “fair” from deteriorating and slipping into the “poor” category. There were 14.5 miles of road covered by this project.
All work has been completed and the City is currently processing closeout documents.
Construction is substantially complete. The City is working with the contractor on the closeout of this project. This project included waterline, sanitary sewer line and pavement construction.
