Wastewater Plant Supervisor
This is a responsible supervisory position, which also requires technical expertise.  Operates and maintains the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant.  Provides supervision and direction for all Wastewater Treatment Plant operations and maintenance activities, and directs employees on day to day responsibilities.  Maintains plant record keeping, and issues reports to proper State commissions in a timely fashion. Tracks budget and expenditures to ensure plant is kept within budget guidelines.  Track and report asset management to ensure equipment is repaired or replaced in a timely fashion.  Must be available to work overtime and be "On Call" as assigned. This position is open until filled.

Kennel Technician-Full Time - Animal Shelter
The City of Taylor is seeking a Full Time Kennel Technician for the Animal Shelter.  This person is responsible for maintaining animal's safety, health, and sanitary facility for sheltered animals.  Provide for the wellbeing of all animals' nutrition, housing and basic medical needs on a daily basis. Customer Service & assistance to the public. Admitting and adopting out animals. Promote good pet ownership to new pet owners. Performs routine clinical procedures and any other related clerical duties as required.

Assistant City Manager
The City of Taylor seeks an Assistant City Manager to work in the City Manager's Office.  Taylor is a home rule city and operators under the council-manager form of government with a Mayor and four Council Members.  The Assistant City Manager is under the supervision of the City Manager.  The City has an FY 2016-2017 budget of $24.5 million and employs 148.75 full-time employees. 
The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.  A master's degree is preferred.  Seven or more years of progressively responsible municipal government experience, including five years' experience at a department head level or higher, is required.  The salary range for this position is $105,000 and $117,000 DOQ.
