Mission Statement The role of the Streets Maintenance Division is to insure the maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, drainage ways, alleys, street signs and pavement markings within the right of way of the city limits of Taylor. The division also supports the annual spring clean up program.
Responsibilities The Street Department of the Public Works Division provides maintenance and responds to citizen inquiries for city roadways in a timely, cost-effective, polite and responsible manner.

Broken Tree Limbs: The city will only remove broken trees and limbs that are in the roadway, alleys and sidewalks if they are interfering with traffic.

Street Sweeping: City street sweepers follow a routine schedule. Contact the our department to find out when the sweeper will be in your area.
Annual Citywide Cleanup: The city conducts a citywide cleanup in the Spring and Fall each year.
