February 9: Victorian Valentine Gala at the Moody Museum, 114 W. 9th St. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $25. Call 512-365-7396 for more information or tickets.
February 20: Presidents Day, City of Taylor offices are closed.
March 2: Taylor Growth Summit is being held at the Williamson County Expo Center.
April 7: Relay for Life; 6 p.m. - midnight at Memorial Stadium in Murphy Park. Call 800-227-2345 for more information.
April 15: Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. at Heritage Square. Children will be divided into two age groups, ages 1 through 3; ages 4 through 6 years old. One parent or adult must accompany each child. For more information call or e-mail Deby Lannen at 512-352-3463.
April 22: Citywide Spring Clean Up sponsored by the City of Taylor Public Works Department starts at 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with two drop-off locations: 1424 N. Main St. at Public Works Department and Welch Street. Free to all residents who must show proof of city residency.
May through October: Taylor Area Farmers Market Local area farmers sell fresh produce at corner of 5th and Main streets every Monday and Friday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

July 14-15: Annual Taylor Rodeo is being held at the Williamson County Expo; gates open at 6 p.m, rodeo at 8 p.m.

OCTOBEROctober 1: Rescheduled from August 26, due to rain. KidFish at Bull Branch Park. The event begins at 1:00 p.m. and lasts until 4 pm. Free to children under age 16.
October 3: National Night Out Host a neighborhood block party on this night held to promote police-community partnerships. Contact Beth at 512-352-5551 to register your party.
October 4: Coffee With a Cop New! Sponsored by Whataburger at 3510 N. Main St. Join Taylor Police Department from 8:30 - 10 a.m. and get a free cup of coffee as you get to know your local officers. Will be held quarterly, dates TBA.
October 8 - 14: Fire Prevention Week View information and develop a family escape plan for your home.
