Utility Billing
When the Governor declared a Declaration of Disaster, City staff took immediate action to assist the utility customers of Taylor. We have split our staff into two teams in an attempt to ensure continuity of service by allowing our Utility Billing department to remain open to accept payments. City utility customers have been assured that during this emergency, the City will not disconnect their water service for non-payment. The City is also waiving any late fees and is willing to work with customers on a payment plan to assist them in catching up on any utility bill delinquencies. These actions are in place until May 1, 2020 and may be extended if needed.
In addition, the City is waiving any fees associated with making payments via credit card. Customers can now pay their utility bills from the safety of their homes through our online and automated phone systems without any additional fees.
